Lexus takes it one step further!

The Lexus LF-A claims to be Lexus’ supercar, as they begin to build up a better name each year with the intriduction of new outperforming cars that match European makes, in 2009 they have decided to take it one step further by introducing the LF-A. Back in 2005 Toyota promised to release the LF-A as soon as Toyota won their first F1 race, but since is very improbable to happen, they have taken their time by testing and retesting at the Nürburgring track in Germany. Now its expected to debut in the spring of 2009 in very limited numbers. Lexus’ supercar will be powered by a 5.0Liter V10 that will put out 520hp connected to a six-speed automated manual transmission. Real question is whethre or not Lexus will find customers willing to pay around $200,000 for a Lexus, that will nontheless not underperform an M6, 911Turbo, Nissan GT-R, and even the presticious F430 or Gallardo.

New Skyline!

The long awaited all wheel drive sports coupe should be made available by next year in the U.S. With its promising new V6 engine that steps up to challenges Porsche's 911Turbo. Being the first oficial model to be sold in the U.S. demand is sure to be great, and with the 480hp created by its 3.8L twin turbo engine, the new GT-R will be anything but ordinary. Moreover, its all new all wheel drive promises to distribute the torque equally among the car. With such features, expect to pay around $75,000 for just the base price. Only problem being is that they will face hard time attracting people to throw down the same amount for a 911 at a Nissan dealer.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X!

For many car enthusiasts, tunners are the most fun and thrilling ways to enjoy high perfomance driving. This is because tunners are relatively cheap so they are very available for the majority of people. This is the perfect ride for car lovers, the new Mitsubishi Evo X is the 10th generation of rally-inspired Lancers that Mitsubishi offers. Basically, this evo is a mix between a turbocharged four cylinder engine and an all wheel drive system all packaged in a four door sedan chasis. This small yet powerful engine puts out 300hp directed by a six-speed manual transmission. But the noteworthy technological advancement of this automobile is its active all-wheel-drive system that with an electronically controlled rear differential distrubutes the torque across the rear axle. The purpose of this is to reduce the understeer that has been the major problem of previous models. On that note, expect to pay between $30,000 and $40,000 depending on options and such by the end of this year.
